The Immigrant Writers Association welcomes new members!
We accept membership applications from writers and upcoming writers who are Canadian immigrants and immigrants’ descendants. This is not a discriminatory criterion, it is just our way to identify the type of members that we can serve the best.

There are two types of membership: Class A ($100/year) or Class B (free).

Benefits Class A membership ($100/year)

1 vote + entitled to receive notice of and to attend all meetings of the members Interviews (radio, video)
Group discussions IWA Youtube channel, IWA social media profiles
Member meetings, activities, Mentoring program Discount to professional services provided by other members
Free attendance at training/workshops/presentations organized by IWA Co-authoring books
Events organized by IWA Free profile on IWA website
Launching party in October; we plan to also launch the 1st co-authored book (by members) Representation at book fairs where IWA has a booth
For newly published books of members: book launch teams, feedback on book covers IWA Blog – shares info from members
Closed Facebook group for members (includes promo for members) e-Zine
Access to IWA resources Volunteering, join a committee to help organize IWA’s activities and build/ improve your skills
IWA Class A member flyer (for your own events – optional) IWA members badge on your website (optional)
