What People Say

The book contains fiction and non-fiction works that tackle the difficulties immigrants go through when they relocate to another country. An immigrant woman talks about the emotional trauma caused by the war going on in her homeland, and a man reminisces about his life in Congo. One author tells a science fiction version of the Russia and Ukraine war with an amazing plot twist and another narrates a magical tale about a storyteller trying to keep the faith. The book also has poems about celebrating your name and identity, finding a place you belong to, and many more. To enjoy all these works and more, get a copy of this book today.

It is always wonderful when you find a book that stirs your heart and makes you feel. The stories and poems in this book are beautifully written, and the writers’ authenticity and creativity are evident in every piece of writing. I think the first story perfectly explains how their experiences with immigration played a significant role in their self-discovery and rebirth. Reborn With Memories by the Immigrant Writers Association is a must-read for anyone who loves reading inspiring stories and poems. The book is well-written and has a consistent format. I cannot pick a favorite story or poem because I love them all. The diverse range of genres is truly exceptional, and I am sure everyone will find something they can relate to. The book tackles Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), loneliness, patriotism, nuclear warfare, and many more issues. I highly recommend this book and hope many more people read it.” – Doreen Chombu, Reader’s Favorite

R.L.

“Poetry, memoirs, fantasy tales, and other works that delve into our reality all landed on the same realm with boundless spirituality. These compelling words strike a chord deep within our hearts, allowing memories to reawaken without language constraints.” — N. Hoi

“This anthology, like any true literature of immigrants, contains writing that embraces the loss of identities as well as the rebirth of memories. Because an immigrant is both fragment and mosaic, and immigration is a shattering of the old to create something wholly new.” ~ G.B.

“Reborn With Memories is a fantastic read that explores the concepts of home, culture, and identity through unique voices and perspectives. I found the poetry sections in particular to be truly captivating.” – N.L
